I moved to Mountain Grove, Missouri, because of Laura Ingalls Wilder and a book about country living that said Missouri is the best spot in the nation for country living.  Mrs. Wilder lived in Mansfield, Missouri, just a piece up the road from Mountain Grove.  I’ve driven past her house many times but have yet to stop in.  How can a place be bad when the author of the Little House books settled here for as long as she did?
